This is a great place to get a cold beer and some excellent food. Italian-inspired menu - I've been here twice for a roast beef sandwich that was delicious - and almost as big as my head! No fries on the side - you get a dish of pasta with Marinara, so there's no going hungry here. Last visit, I watched the guy next to me push away his Chicken Caciatorre - he said it was absolutely delicious, but the serving was so big, he couldn't finish it. [what a p*ssy!]
Nice beer selection - usually they have two (rotating) bottled varieties on ice at the bar at a special price. The food is excellent and the serivce is just as good.
This is a basically restaurant with a bar - so it's probably not where you go to meet people. It may be different on weekends. They have a large dining room, and some booths in the bar area; if it were me, I'd pull the booths out of the bar area and make the bar bigger (and promote it as such) but hey - that's just me.
Definitely a place to stop when you're in this area - you won't be dissapointed. Amazed no one else had reviewed this place yet. -
